Enter The Heart-Crack of Crisis
It begins with entering a shared recognition of the vulnerability and uncertainty of living in a world on the edge of environmental catastrophe. This is a space to see one another in this place, in fear, in grief, in certainty, to reach a unity in being alive together in uncertainty.
2. Come Ecstatically Alive as a Cell of the Earth
We then go together through dance, ritual, prayer, music has the intention of bringing us into an an embodied experience and rememberance of ourselves as a single cell of the one life of an ecstatically alive, planet.
3. Take the Ecstatic Action true to the cell of the Earth that is you.
From that place, you then feel how the cell of earth that is you wants to respond to planetary emergency. This could be taking part in one of our organised actions or doing something you are specifically called to.
Our ‘Pattern of Action’ for Earth Day
We have create a simple pattern of action for Earth Day that allows you to take ecstatic action from the heart-crack of crisis.
This pattern can be held during a single ‘Ecstatic Space’ or held as separate spaces.
Our aim is simply to see ‘WHAT IS POSSIBLE TOGETHER’ by responding to planetary environmental emergency from an heart-cracked, ecstatic place, rooted and tapped in to the one life of the earth.
We ask ourselves what it would be like, if instead of isolated islands in the sea of our dying culture we were an interconnected mycelial web which was rooted in the core of the earth?
What we’re creating is a way of doing this that becomes possible, where we can work together as one body of the earth. When you take part in Earth Day you are joining the experiment.
